SKF - Metric Tapered Roller Bearing Set
280 x 420 x 87 mm (Cup & Cone Set)
 
A basic Tapered Roller bearing consists of two components - an internally angled raceway (Cup), and an externally angled inner ring with cage and rollers (Cone). Tapered roller bearings are designed to accommodate combined radial and axial loads simultaneously. The axial load carrying capacity of tapered roller bearings increases with the increasing geometric contact angle.
 
Tapered Roller bearings are also available as Assembly units that can facilitate Face to Face or Back to Back mounting with the inclusion of Double Cups or Double Cones, used in conjunction with machined spacers to provide correct bearing preload and Bench End Play (BEP). Tapered Roller bearings are available as single row, double row and multi (four row) designs.
