Chemical Absorbent Sock – 80mm x 3m (Box of 8)

Chemical absorbents are designed to contain and absorb hazardous liquids such as acids, caustics, oils, coolants, solvents and other solutions. They are fast acting with high absorbency rates, ideal for use in laboratories, hospitals and chemical storage areas.

Absorbent socks are designed to encircle spills for clean up or to protect areas from the path of spills. They absorb liquid spills quickly and stop them from spreading further. 
Once absorbent socks have contained the spill, absorbent pads or granules can be used to soak up the pooled liquid.

  • Flexible Socks can be shaped around leaking machinery, equipment, oil storage or dispensing areas to contain and absorb leaks, drips or potential spills
  • Can also be used to surround or divert a spill and stop it from spreading Knitted outer skin on the sock allows it to expand and the liquids get absorbed faster and more efficiently
  • Ultra absorbent filling will retain the liquid it has absorbed
  • Each 3 metre sock can absorb up to 13.75 litres.
