Optibelt RED POWER v-belts feature a high modulus tension cord for a 50% increase in power capacity. These cords resist stretching over time making them maintenance-free and more energy efficient as tension loss decreases efficiency. It's transverse fiber rubber compound increase the belts capacity to dissipate heat and stabilizes the belt in the sheave for up to 97% efficiency. Red Power also features Opti belt’s Set-Constant length tolerances that are far closer than any matched set, regardless of the date manufactured!

Compact: performance in a small space

The new design with optibelt RED POWER 3 V-belts enables a space-saving and cost-effective design thanks to a reduced number of belts and the associated lower axle and bearing loads.

Problem solver: reliable and economical

Its multiple service life and significantly reduced maintenance requirements make the optibelt RED POWER 3 a problem solver in overloaded drives with conventional V-belts. Cost savings of up to 35% are possible thanks to lower maintenance costs and a reduced need for replacement due to fewer belts and smaller pulleys. Conventional V-belts require regular re-tensioning throughout their service life. The maintenance-free optibelt RED POWER 3 eliminates this additional work and cost expenditure

Powerful to the limit

The optibelt RED POWER 3 achieves up to 50% higher performance than conventional V-belts. This means that fewer belts are required for power transmission, which is why sustainable cost savings are made possible thanks to narrower pulleys. Smaller pulley diameters can be used with the same number of belts.

Construction details

Cord
High modulus polyester tension cords resist stretching. This eliminates re-tensioning maintenance and substantially improves energy efficiency.

Rubber
Transverse fiber rubber provides added strength and allows for higher cord tension, which increases the belt’s power capacity.

Wrap
2X wrapped for increased grip strength and greater wear resistance. This specialized wrap is rubber impregnated and fused to the belt’s core rubber.
