Deep Groove Ball Bearing - Maximum (BL3 Type)

40mm (Bore) x 90mm (OD) x 23 mm (Width)

Filling slots in the inner and outer rings allow maximum ball bearings to contain a larger number of balls than normal deep groove ball bearings; however, the slots make them unsuitable for applications with high axial loads.
BL2 and BL3 types have boundary dimensions equal to those of Series 62 and 63 single-row deep groove ball bearings respectively.
ZZ-type shielded bearings are available in addition to open bearings.
When using these bearings, the filling slot in the outer ring should be positioned outside of the loaded zone as much as possible.
Maximum ball bearings feature pressed steel cages.

Features

High radial load capacity
Maximum ball bearings can support large radial loads as they contain more balls than deep groove ball bearings.
However, they are not suitable for axial loads due to their ball filling slots.
Standard dimensions
Shared boundary dimensions (BL2/Series 62, BL3/Series 63) allow for easy replacement.
