Plow Bolts & nuts are used to secure cutting edges to plows, earthmoving blades and other heavy duty equipment.

Black or plain finish is unfinished (bare steel) has no actual protective coating. There may be an oil residue which provides some shelf life but no real corrosion protection when in use. The term “black” is an old industry term for plain. Depending on the material grade and heat treatment process the colour can vary from a shiny oily finish to a dull black.
