Serrated Flange Hex Nut High Tensile Plain M16 (Box=200)

Hex Flange serrated nuts have a wide flange that acts as a fixed, integrated washer.

  • This assists the distribution of pressure of the nut over the part being secured.
  • The serrated surface on the underside of the flange provides a locking mechanism by angling into the foundation to prevent the nut from rotating in the loosening direction.
  • Flange nuts also remove the need for a washer to be added to each fastener assembly during installation.

Nuts should be selected to match a compatible bolt grade and material system to ensure proper strength and performance.
