Flanged Hex Bolt - M8 x 30 Zinc/Yellow (Box 100)

Hex Flange JIS Bolts are a Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) fastener used mainly in the automotive industry. They have a smaller and more compact head size (AF) if compared to an Australian Standard (AS) equivalent hex flange bolt. The built-in washer under the head of the bolt acts to distribute the clamping load over a greater area, the wide flange head is designed to provide the same holding power as a washer. Can be used to fasten objects together by inserting the bolt from the one end and securing it with either a nut on the other end or into a taped hole

Zinc Yellow plated refers to the colour of the chromate that is applied after zinc has been applied. Yellow chromate increases the overall protection of the finish. It is often used in the automotive industry. The coating is intended to be used internally due to its average level of corrosion protection.
