Serrated Flanged Bolt D-Lok Zc Flake Silver M12X30

Hex Flange D-Lok Bolts are the highest strength hex head metric bolts. They are approx. 20% stronger than a class 10.9 and 40% than class 8.8. The bolts feature a flange under the head which removes the need for a separate washer and are serrated to lock and clamp the connection. It is fatigue resistant & re-usable with no reduction in performance

Applications: Equipment and machinery with constant vibration, forklifts, truck and large vehicles, mining equipment, motor bikes, conveyors and materials handling equipment, defence / military vehicles

D-Lok bolts and nuts are coated with a Zinc Flake Coating which is hydrogen embrittlement risk free. Prior to this coating being available there has always been a risk that if the high tensile bolt wasn't plated correctly, and it can be hard to tell either way, failure could occur. Zinc Flake Coating bolts from Hobson resolve this. Test certicates and reports are available upon request. The coating is relatively new to the fastener industry, it has a similiar colour and appearance to mechancial galvanising and in sea salt testing results showed to last approximately 25 years in C4 environment or approximately 15 years in C5 environment
