Structural Washers are high-strength hardened flat washers 

Manufactured to meet AS 1252:2016 requirements, they provide reliable load distribution in high-strength structural connections.

Key Features:

  • Installed under both the bolt head and nut to distribute HSFG bolt preload evenly.
  • Helps prevent indentation and damage to connected steel plates.
  • Galvanised finish for improved durability.

Easy Identification:

  • Features three distinct external nibs (bumps/dimples) around the washer edge.
  • The nibs provide a quick visual check for installers and inspectors.

HOT DIP GALVANISED
 
Galvanised is a dull greyish colour and rough in appearance. HDG products are used where a high level of corrosion resistance is required. HDG products are recommended for long term outdoor applications.
 
Note: galvanised nuts are typically paired with galvanised bolts to prevent uneven corrosion (called galvanic corrosion). Mixing them with non-coated or different metals can shorten their lifespan.
