Structural Washer - Plain - M12 (Box=1000)

This washer is intended for use in AS 1252 structural steel connections with M12 structural bolts and nuts, such as in buildings, bridges, and other steel structures.

Easy Identification:

  • Features three distinct external nibs (bumps/dimples) around the washer edge.
  • The nibs provide a quick visual check for installers and inspectors.
  • Washers without the three nibs are not classified as structural-rated washers.

Note

Washers must be selected to match a compatible bolt , nut grade and material system to ensure proper strength and performance.

Finish
PLAIN
 
Black or plain finish is unfinished (bare steel). It has no actual protective coating. There may be an oil residue that provides shelf life but no corrosion protection when used. Depending on the material grade and heat treatment the colour may vary from a shiny oily appearance to a dull black finish.
