K0 Structural Washer - Plain - M36 (Box=200)

K0 Structural Washers are high-strength hardened flat washers designed for use with the K0 Structural Bolt and Nut assembly system. Manufactured to meet AS 1252:2016 requirements, they provide reliable load distribution in high-strength structural connections.

Key Features:

Designed specifically for matched K0 Structural Bolt and Nut assemblies.
Installed under both the bolt head and nut to distribute HSFG bolt preload evenly.
Helps prevent indentation and damage to connected steel plates.
Galvanised finish for improved durability.
Class 8.8 equivalent hardness for structural performance.
Suitable only for use with compatible K0 structural bolts and nuts.

Easy Identification:

Features three distinct external nibs (bumps/dimples) around the washer edge.
The nibs provide a quick visual check for installers and inspectors.
Washers without the three nibs are not classified as structural-rated K0 washers.

Important: Use only approved K0 components

For compliant K0 connections, always use the correctly matched K0 bolt, K0 nut, and K0 washer. Do not use a K0 washer with a standard hex bolt or replace it with an alternative washer, as this may compromise the integrity of the connection and void AS 1252:2016 certification.

Finish

PLAIN

Black or plain finish is unfinished (bare steel). It has no actual protective coating. There may be an oil residue that provides shelf life but no corrosion protection when used. Depending on the material grade and heat treatment the colour may vary from a shiny oily appearance to a dull black finish.
