Taper 8 Washers are designed for use with structural beams and channels where they compensate for a lack of parallelism between mating surfaces. They provide a secure and effective fit in structural bolting applications.

Taper Washers used with AS 1252 Structural Assemblies are manufactured from medium carbon steel and are heat treated and hardened to achieve a hardness range of  26–45 HRC, ensuring reliable performance in demanding structural applications

HOT DIP GALVANISED
 
Galvanised is a dull greyish colour and rough in appearance. HDG products are used where a high level of corrosion resistance is required. HDG products are recommended for long term outdoor applications.
 
Note: galvanised nuts are typically paired with galvanised bolts to prevent uneven corrosion (called galvanic corrosion). Mixing them with non-coated or different metals can shorten their lifespan.
