Taper 8 Washers are designed for use with structural beams and channels where they compensate for a lack of parallelism between mating surfaces. They provide a secure and effective fit in structural bolting applications.

Taper Washers used with AS 1252 Structural Assemblies are manufactured from medium carbon steel and are heat treated and hardened to achieve a hardness range of  35–45 HRC, ensuring reliable performance in demanding structural application
