Serrated VS Safety Washer - Zinc Plate - M22x33.0x1.9(Box=20)

Original SCHNORR® Safety Washers are in the form of a disc spring but with a trapezoidal cross-section and serrations on both sides. The outer diameter is matched to the head diameter of the pan head and socket head cap screws.

For screws of property classes 8.8 and 10.9, higher pretension forces might be necessary. These are covered by our reinforced washers type “VS”.

Due to the conical form, optimal traction is achieved at highest positive locking due to the helical gearing

Note: To ensure optimum strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance, washers should be selected from a material compatible with the bolt and nut. For example, use stainless washers with stainless fasteners, and galvanised washers with galvanised fasteners.

Zinc Plated is the most common fastener of plating due to its the low cost and shinny bright silver finish. A thin layer of zinc is applied by either electroplating or mechanically. It is intended to be used internally. External use is not recommended if corrosion is a concern. Choose from the galvanised or stainless steel range for external use.
