Loctite - 272

Red, high-strength, high-temperature-resistant threadlocker

LOCTITE^® 272 is a red, medium-viscosity, high-strength, anaerobic-curing, threadlocking adhesive with high temperature resistance. It is specially designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners and to withstand temperatures up to 232°C (450°F). The anaerobic adhesive cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. Ideal for the locking and sealing of large bolts and studs.
