LOCTITE^® 55

Thread cord for sealing threaded metal and plastic pipes and fittings

LOCTITE^® 55 is designed for sealing of metal and plastic pipes and fittings. It's a non-cure sealant and results in an immediate, full pressure seal. The ideal choice for a quick, easy and reliable seal. The product has approval for natural gas and potable water. It also meets the performance requirements of KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 for admixtures up to and including 100% hydrogen gas – certifications are available in select countries.

Tested in accordance with EN 751-2 Class ARp
DVGW/KTW-BWGL approval for gas and potable water
Certified to NSF/ANSI, Standard 61
WRAS listed – approval number 1807518, meets BS 6920 for potable water: 0808533
KIWA GASTEC QA AR 214 certified for hydrogen gas systems
Watermark WMTS 014:2016 certified - WMK 26725 (Compliant to AS/NZS 4020:2018)
